The Centre can be found in the heart of this picturesque seaside town and within sight of the Castle.

The Canolfan is one of the four leisure centres run by Anglesey County Council's Leisure and Heritage department - yet, in many ways it is different to all the others.

The Canolfan gracefully combines Art, Culture and Sport. The fully professional theatre facilities are the main venue for the annual Beaumaris Festival and the home base for the famous Beaumaris Band.

The multi-purpose exhibition area displays the work of the Island's local artists and art groups. Summer and Christmas craft fairs are also held in this area. The venue is a popular choice for functions such as anniversaries and weddings as well as group workshops. The kitchen is adjacent to the exhibition area which is convenient for serving buffets or light refreshments. Sessions such as Yoga find the exhibition area very relaxing and well suited to the mood of the class.

A variety of sporting activities are offered in the main hall to suit the very young to the very old. The Centre specialises in children's activities, offering a wide range of courses and also provides a creche. There is a varied fitness programme for the adults and the Beaumaris Badminton Club always welcomes new members. Bowls and croquet are the more gentle activities on offer.

The Canolfan also has a squash court and sundome. The sundome is very popular with those who like to have a little colour and protection before going on holiday.
